Harold Alfred Pepperworth (1922–1997)
Harold served in the US Navy from 1940 to 1948 stationed aboard the USS Honolulu (CL-48) light cruiser and survived the Pearl Harbor attack. After moving to Whatcom County, he worked at the Bellingham Shipyard, Pacific Fruit, became owner of Bellingham Produce, and established deep roots in the Teamsters Union.
Patriarch Harold Alfred Pepperworth (1922–1997)
Harold served in the US Navy from 1940 to 1948, stationed aboard the USS Honolulu (CL-48) light cruiser and survived the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941. After returning to Whatcom County, he worked at the Bellingham Shipyard, Pacific Fruit, became owner of Bellingham Produce, and established deep roots in the Teamsters Union. In 1979, he established A-1 Pepperworth Plumbing, choosing the "A-1" directory prefix to secure the #1 position in local Yellow Pages directories.
Rick R. Pepperworth expanded mechanical operations to Hawaii, managing Pepperworth Drainpipe Plumbing & Solar and Hawaiian Solar & Plumbing Inc.
The Pepperworth family ties into the historic Matheson family line through intermarriage, anchoring deep municipal trust across Bellingham and Laurel.

Manages overall business operations, client relations, and municipal compliance. Active community leader in endurance athletics (Bellingham Turkey Trot 2012, Runnin' O' Green 5K 2014, Budu Racing 2015), Meridian High School wrestling volunteer, and organizer of the Sumas flood relief campaign for Ali and Anthony Bowen.
