Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly (RPBA)
Required for high-hazard commercial facilities, chemical feed loops, hydronic heating systems, and commercial kitchens. Features twin check valves with an intermediate differential relief valve to vent non-potable fluids to atmosphere upon pressure failure.
Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA)
Mandatory for low-hazard multi-family residential cross-connections and fire sprinkler mains. Maintains two independently acting spring-loaded check valves preventing backpressure and backsiphonage.
